Dianne
Mann: Head Coach Dianne
became involved with the club in 1987. She trained under the supervision
of Mary Waby, and was mentored by Alan Rooker (BSC Head Coach at the
time). Dianne progressed through the coaching ranks and worked alongside
GB Olympic Coach, Bill Furniss, coaching the Nova Centurions A Squad
before becoming Head Coach at Bramcote.
Tom
Wilkinson: ASA Teachers Level 2
Tom has been a swimming member since 1998 and coaching since 2005.
He coaches the A, B & C squads as well as training with the Masters
Squad. He specialises in Backstroke and still swims league galas for
the club.
Graham
Bradley: ASA Teachers Level 2 Graham was a competitive swimmer and water polo player with
Nottingham Northern in the 60's and has been teaching and coaching
from 1970 at various clubs in Nottingham before going into HM Forces
where he competed in a number of sports. He returned to swimming when
one of his children started training with a local club. He re-took
the Assistant Teachers and Teachers Certificates in 2004 and 2005.
Ian
Osborne: STA Level 2
Ian started swimming as a child. He began to attend the Life-saving
classes and enjoyed it so much he went on to train with them, and
now coaches with the life-saving club. He also took an STA teachers
course and has taught swimming for Bramcote Swimming club for many
years - and still enjoys it!
Sue
Lyons: ASA Teachers Level 2 Sue is a mum whose children have grown up through the Bramcote
Swimming Club. She started to help out a few years ago and ended up
with an ASA Assistant teachers level 2 qualification.
Mary
Waby: ASA Teachers Level 2 Mary has been with the club for many years and recruited
Dianne Mann as a parent helper. She is a very experienced teacher
and has coached in all capacities from squad coaching to teaching
the very youngest to swim.
