History

The Club was founded in 1965 when a new pool was built at Bramcote. The club has since enjoyed continuous activity, helping thousands of swimmers to develop their interest in the sport.

Our home pool is at Bramcote Leisure Centre, which we use for all but one of our training sessions and when we host Swim Galas. It is located on the south-west outskirts of Nottingham. We also have the use of the University of Nottingham's Pool for supplementary training on Wednesdays.

The Club has always had a strong membership, and feeds the more gifted swimmers through to the Nottingham Nova Centurions Squad, effectively the county squad, where development at the highest level is available.

Every year since its inception, the Club has held its own Championships to encourage members to compete for an excellent range of trophies which are presented at the Presentation Evening and Disco in December.
