Individual results & PBs

Swimmer performance data for the last 12 months is now available through the club's website

You'll need a username and password which is available by clicking here. Then go to 'Results' then click on the link against 'Individual results'.

Remember:-

You'll need to change the course from yards to SCM (short course meters) before seeing our times

'Fastest' option defaults to 1 meaning you only see the swimmer's PBs, changing this lets you look at further results and start to monitor improvement

Bramcote Swimming Club Review of the Year

2007 was a very good year for the club: membership is at record levels; we achieved a top 5 finish in the Speedo league, our best performance in over 10 years; we’ve a committed team of coaches and teachers overseen by a strong management team led by a new chairman in Andy Thornton; plus the club’s finances are very healthy.

Key achievements in 2007 were:-

  • Bramcote performed exceptionally well in the Speedo League (Division 2) with a top five finish. The team spirit was excellent at the final gala in December which Bramcote won
  • In the final gala of the Notts and District League on 8 th December our club swimmers achieved 20 pb’s and came first in that gala to take home the cup
  • Natasha Hofton earned a National qualifying time in 200m backstroke and will be competing at the national championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield in August
  • Emma Bird, now selected for the GB senior squad, competed at the European Short Course Championships in Hungary in December. She has the Beijing Olympics in her sights and is also part of a target group of young athletes receiving special support for London 2012.
  • The Masters squad continues to grow and have begun to establish themselves in Master-level competitions. Swimmers have medalled at this years Midland Masters Championship, a great step forward for the club.
  • Extra sessions have been added this year to an already very busy swimming timetable. There’s a new session at the 50m pool in Loughbough, a circuit training session at the Bramcote youth gym plus a new Sunday morning session.
  • A special swim clinic focusing on technique is now running 3 times a week
  • For the first time since the 1970s the club is hosting an Open Meet in November.
  • Club membership has reached an all time record with over 280 swimmers (including 86 in the teaching pool alone) and the club now has more qualified coaches than it’s ever had in its history - 13 ASA qualified coaches.
  • The Club has re-branded with new team kit and re-launched it’s website with a blog to keep swimmers and parents up to date with all the club’s news.
